Current Ring

The ebb and flow of life, not getting swept away in the current, being in the moment. All key aspects of living a good life, I believe.

This design is a stripped back and purposeful reflection on this and making the outside black to carve a very clear but malleable, flexible path through the silver mimics the river and the sea. Taking the path that there is and moving through the world in the way that it offers.

With the black patina it's purpose is to wear away so it is supposed to change over time as does everything in the natural world. It won't take re-blackening without fundamentally changing to a ring with black patina in the bright cut currents which is quite beautiful.
