Shipping:
All Seabird Silver jewellery is made to order. The handcrafting process takes time so please allow 2 weeks for orders to be completed and shipped.
Some larger items need to be sent to the assay office for stamping and this will have been included in the item description. Hallmarking has approximately a 10 day turn around, if you need an item rushed then please enquire about the availability of an expedited service.
All completed orders are shipped by Royal Mail recorded delivery which should arrive the next working day by 1pm.
Materials:
All Seabird Silver jewellery is made in 925 sterling silver. This is recycled silver, as most silver is because silver is a readily available semi precious metal and is easily repeatedly recycled numerous times adding some reassurance to its eco credentials.
Other materials like brass, bronze, white bronze, gold plated, 9ct gold and 18ct gold are available for many pieces on request. Gold, especially at 18ct, is an expensive metal at the moment and will be fluctuation in price so if you order some we will discuss and settle on the final design, I will cost it, I will request immediate payment so I can then order it ASAP. I am happy to discuss options with you.
What if I need to adjust my order?
If you need to make a minor adjustment please email here with your order number and modification as soon as possible and we will let you know if it can be done. If you want a design slightly adjusted then please get in touch over email before ordering your item.

How do I find my ring size?
You have a couple of options, you can order a ring sizer with us which you can find here or if you have access, you could go to a local jeweller and ask them to help you with sizing.
The ring sizer comes with instructions. We do not ship these internationally so if you are overseas, then please order a ring sizer elsewhere online.
TIPS
- Make sure to size the correct finger on the correct hand as your dominant hand is often slightly larger.
- The aim is for a snug fit, the correct size is that where you are able to it slip back over the knuckle.
- Fingers shrink and swell at different temperatures. Measure your fingers later in the day and at room temperature for best results.
- If you are between two sizes then pick the larger size

Is your work hallmarked?
Yes! Many items are hallmarked. Some smaller items may be too small, too fiddly a shape or cost prohibitive for there to be a hallmark .
Items over the exemption weight of 7.78 grams have to be tested and hallmarked by law.
If a piece has the appropriate surface for stamping and you desire a smaller piece to be hallmarked we can discuss prices so please feel free to ask.
How long do I have to use my lesson?
You have 6 months from the date of purchase to book your lesson.
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you think you need to cancel suddenly, you must give at least 48 hours to cancel and reschedule.
No refunds over 6 months post purchase date.
Can I get a rush job expedited?
With rush jobs I may not always have time to take on a big time commitment over other pieces but I am happy to discuss projects over email.

All of Seabird Silver jewellery is made to order so we do not offer returns but making sure you are as satisfied as possible is very important at Seabird HQ so if there is an issue with an item you've ordered please get in touch by sending an email here and we will endeavour to help.
