What does the sea say when it speaks to me?

This is a ring based on the most wonderful memories of laying in a kayak in Oddicoombe Bay. It is high summer, there are a few jellyfish wafting by and it is slack tide which makes the small waves sound like a big xylophone.

Using a technique I developed I created this piece with the sound of softly moving water in mind. Notice the details, highlighted with patina, that wraps all the way around the top and bottom of the ring to really maximise the flowing, liquid texture.
